Suffolk
County Girls Lacrosse, Inc. was founded in 2002.
The object of our organization is to encourage the sport of girls
lacrosse in Suffolk County, New York.
It is our goal to provide an instructional league for the girls of
Suffolk County that will allow them to enjoy the game and to prepare them
for a future in competitive lacrosse.
Our
Constitution and By-Laws describe our organization and the roles of the
many volunteers that make it work. Elected
Officers and Committee Chairmen provide the various programs enrolled in
the league with game schedules, directions to games and rules of play for
each division. All games are
professionally officiated by NYSPHSAA Section XI certified referees.
We have grown from
a modest beginning to having [36]
town programs enroll [160]
teams that will play over [680]
games in our 2008 Spring season.
